Nice little hometown breakfast/lunch diner. Food was good as was the service. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only have one restroom. I just don't like sharing a restroom with men.

Only sit down restaurant in Osage open for breakfast that is Not a fast food chain (Subway and Hardee's). The most expensive breakfast was $7.25. It was hash browns with melted cheese, topped with Ham, Onions and Green Peppers and topped with an Egg cooked to order. Evrything was fresh and hand cut. Coffee was good and always filled by the owner / waitress / cook. Your normal crowd of local men were there when I arrived at 6:10 am (opens at 6 am), solving all the world's problems over coffee and sometimes breakfast. The decor featured pink walls covered with Lucile Ball and I Love Lucy memorabilia. You can tell this is a popular place for breakfast with the locals. Well worth the walk from the hotel. Next time I end up staying in Osage Iowa, I will definitely return.

If you like "I Love Lucy" tv series, you'll enjoy Lucy's lunch box. It has a homey atmosphere & meals are homemade. Open from 6am to 1pm & Sunday& Monday's. Wheelchair accessible.
